🌔 About the Opportunity
Join MoonPay as our HR Systems Analyst and play a key role in shaping the future of our HR systems and processes. In this role, you’ll drive scalable, high-impact solutions across our Workday ecosystem and other HR platforms, helping to optimize the full scope of People Operations. We’re looking for a proactive, solutions-oriented individual who thrives on identifying process improvements and turning them into effective Workday configurations. 🚀 What you will do
- Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for Workday HCM, providing day-to-day support across business processes, integrations, reporting, dashboards, and system enhancements.
- Lead the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of Workday configuration updates, new modules, and integrations to support evolving business needs.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams including HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and Talent Acquisition to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize enhancements that align with MoonPay’s people technology roadmap and business goals.
- Participate in Workday bi-annual releases, including testing, documentation, and deployment of new features and functionality.
- Perform data uploads and mass changes using tools like EIBs, and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security across all processes.
- Analyze system gaps and inefficiencies, recommend best practices, and implement process improvements that enhance scalability and operational excellence.
- Support key People programs (e.g., performance cycles, compensation reviews, and talent calibration) through configuration, data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all Workday-related solutions are well-documented, scalable, and aligned with business processes and compliance standards.
- Stay current with Workday product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously grow expertise and improve system performance.
- Assist with the smooth execution of onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring data accuracy and system readiness for new hires and departing employees.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and processes across People Operations, optimizing efficiency and maximizing team productivity.
- Develop and regularly maintain internal knowledge base articles and resources to empower employees to be self-directed and successful
💻 What you'll be working on
You will be collaborating with our HR Systems Lead and our People Operations Manager to roll-out Workday and process improvement, getting the chance to configure and improve core elements of system architecture (e.g. Compensation Plans, Benchmarking, Competencies etc.). You’ll provide punctual support to the People Operations team, and not be afraid to get hands on when required.
🧑🚀 About You
- 3+ years experience of Workday configuration - with a balanced expertise across multiple modules, including Core HCM. Ideally, you’ve managed major employee lifecycle events.
- Experience with troubleshooting integrations to downstream systems.
- Knowledge of long-term Workday best practices
- Good understanding of People Operations processes (onboarding, contract management, offboarding etc.).
- A self-motivated, great attitude team player
- Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in Business Administration, HR or IT.
